dc.description.abstract | Malicious programs (or malware) such as viruses, worms, botnets, etc. can infect a network device (router, access point, etc.) at the firmware level. This can make them stay hidden very efficiently and avoid getting detected by conventional means. This project focuses on the analysis of such firmware and developing a tool that can assist to determine if the firmware of the device is infected with firmware-level malware. | en_US |
