Studying derivatives market in other countries and application for vietnam situation (futures and options for vn30 index)

Abstract

Although there are a lot of researches about derivatives, derivatives always is hot topic. Derivatives is the modern and effective risk management instrument in financial market, so it always get the attention of individual investors, companies, commercial banks, and financial organizations. Therefore, building a successful derivatives market is an important landmark for developing financial market. Many studies explored the factors which affecting to build a derivatives market. In this study, the researchers will find out the previous studies and experiences of other countries (South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and Turkey) to summarize the elements which impact to build a successful derivative market in Vietnam. This will be an interesting study because the construction of derivatives market in Vietnam is an immediate target of Vietnam and now is the preparation time for derivatives establishment.
