Location-based Augmented Reality Game System for Coffee House

Abstract

Nowadays all over the world, advertising is becoming more and more important, and Vietnam is not an exception. There are many ways to do the advertising, one of the most effective ways is through the smartphones. Advertising through smartphones is convenient because the number of people who uses smartphone is increasing day by day. And playing games is considered as the easiest way to attract people’s attention. Unity3D is a suitable tool to make games, plus it supports to build games for smartphones, so we decide to build a game application for smartphones by using Unity3D. Our game application requires the camera for scanning the pattern. We have found out a very powerful scanning tool – Vuforia. Plus Vuforia can be attached into Unity3D, so we decide to solve our problem by applying this duo – Unity3D and Vuforia.
