THE CURRENT SITUATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS FOR RAISING CAPITAL AND CAPITAL MOBILIZATION AT VIETINBANK - THE CASE OF VIETIN BANK HOAN KIEM BRANCH.

Abstract

In the context of many difficulties, challenges for today's economy, in order to stability and growth funds mobilized guaranteed to meet capital for production development, business to enterprises and investors, Ours group chose the subject “ the current situation and recommendations for raising capital and capital mobilization at VietinBank – The case of VietinBank Hoan Kiem branch. Commercial banks that our team have chosen is Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade, this is one of the largest commercial bank in Viet Nam, in terms of both branch network and scale of total assets. However, ours team have to face some limitations in terms of time, budget, scope of research. Therefore, ours group focus on find out and analyze one of the branches of VietinBank, the case of VietinBank Hoan Kiem branch. The main objective is to understand, identify exactly capital mobilization and credit operations of VietinBank Hoan Kiem branch in the period from 2012-2015, monitoring and analysis of that period the bank has capital mobilization and use of capital effective or not, what is the weaknesses and threats the bank have to face? Then find solutions to strengthen the effectiveness of raising capital based on research methods such as: Research philosophy, research strategies, the Data collection methods … Besides, Our team focused primarily on use primary data, secondary data, Qualitative methods and Quantitative methods. The data and the information we use from recent years, mostly of the main data from 2015, we chose the period 2012-2015 in order to be closest to forecast future problems.
