Construction Contractor Portal

Abstract

This project concentrates on creating a common market where construction contractors can give unused construction equipment for rent. It is called Construction Contractor Portal (CCP). CCP is to assist contractors for their equipment sharing needs. In construction business, there is a gap between reality and estimated plan, and there are needs to rent or lease available construction equipment and make up for this gap. Within a short time, traditional approaches via personal relationship network is not efficient. The Construction Contractor Portal supports an optimal solution for that problem, providing a common market for contractors to share information about their available construction equipment, make hiring transactions and manage renting process.
