Outdoor Employees Management System

Abstract

In a real situation, the management team manages a laborer team in assigning tasks for them to work at various different companies. Remotely managing employees is extremely difficult. In the normal way, the laborer will fill in the job information on the paper in the workplace to take notes that he/she is coming and working at the assigned place. Whenever managers want to check the result of tasks, they usually send some people to check at employees' workplaces and these checks obviously may not possible all of the time. They also do not know whether their employee arrived at a workplace on time or not. The proposed system’s purpose is to give an easier approach for the manager to manage their outdoor employees. The system is called Outdoor Employee Management - OEM. It helps managers to assign tasks faster, to receive reports (about the result, problems, etc) from their employees in real-time, and to get a better overview of tasks. Besides that, OEM provides a mobile application for employees. The application will help employees to control their tasks, to report the task ’s result to their manager easier, etc. Finally, OEM is to be designed as a framework with various plugins for several kinds of outdoor employees. The very first version of OEM focuses on laborers who do the cleaning work in many buildings.
