Building the bids online system

Abstract

With drastic development of the Internet, online selling or online business is not a new thing for us. Nowadays, the E-commerce market in Vietnam is growing fast with a variety of E-commerce websites, online selling forums, online stores, online auction websites… It seems that E-commerce is becoming part of everyone's life. We understand that some people have valuable items like collectible items, antique items... and want to sell them for people having the same interest, or simply sell a usual item, liquidate old items to others. However, current auction sites have some disadvantages: not providing necessary tools for business, inconvenience, not yet providing safety for a customer when performing online transactions, bad user experience…or scams, frauds. Therefore, these disadvantages can cause frustration or difficulty for people who really need the online business. Therefore, we have developed an online auction system called eBOS, a playground for everyone can join, sell and buy items, keep tracks of selling and buying history. We also have developed a real-time so that user can see changes of an auction immediately and finds easy to see what's happening. In addition, a user also can get notifications about the auction: someone outbid user, the auction is ending soon or just ended… To make a safe place for everyone, eBOS provides a tool for an administrator to manage users and auctions so that administrator can take action if bad things happen. These functions for normal users can be performed on both website and mobile app, so a user can use the system’s functions conveniently, at any time, everywhere.
