Abstract: In the 4.0 technology revolution, digital transformation is an inevitable development trend, and next to it is the strong development of websites and web applications. Many Web Applications were developed to serve the purpose and provide the necessary services to the users. No systems are perfect as no Web Applications are free from bugs or errors. In order to build a functional Web Application that can survive cyber exploitations and attacks, cybersecurity is considered to be the critical factor. For Web Applications to always be ready to respond to threats in cyberspace, it is necessary to be able to identify the vulnerabilities fast and accurately. Because of that, the Web Application Vulnerability Scanners are crucial with their ability to test and detect security vulnerabilities. In our project, we will do deep research on the Web Application Vulnerability Scanners working mechanisms and methodologies using some of the top-ranking scanners. Then, we analyze them to find their remaining weaknesses and provide solutions for them.
