Abstract

A system flaw or weakness in a web-based application is referred to as a web application vulnerability. They have been popular for decades, resulting in a lack of validation and sanitization of form inputs, as well as misconfigured web servers and poor application design that allow an attacker to gain control of the website or, more seriously, compromise the server.
