Fertility and nutrition management application for sows

Abstract

Until now, farmers are used to using traditional methods (managing by books) for small-scale farmers. When the quantity is small, it can be easily managed with books, but with a large-scale farm, writing down on paper with the number of 2000 heads per farm, this management is not optimal, takes a lot of time, and is difficult to find. information can be retrieved from a long time ago. Since the beginning, Alpha Breeding Joint Stock Company is just a small farm with less than 100 sows, small scale should use traditional methods (management by books). Up to now, Alpha Breeding Joint Stock Company has grown from being a small farm and started to increase in size and established Alpha Breeding Joint Stock Company with a large number of nearly 4000 sows. Therefore, the paper management is really not optimal, moreover it takes a lot of time and effort. Moreover, when it is necessary to find information from a long time ago, it is very difficult. Storing data on paper can easily cause confusion, loss of information... Does the company use additional storage methods on Excel, but still have to write down information on paper every day and reenter it into Excel, so it takes a lot of time and effort, so it's not optimized but also costs more labor. Therefore, in this graduation project, our team will research and design an application focusing on the management and monitoring of nutrition and reproduction for sows so that the company can manage easily, through information will be imported and stored in the application. Helps users to manage and enter details of the amount of feed that pigs have consumed each day. Thanks to that, the user can assess the sow's condition (good appetite / anorexia / lack of quality ...). From there, users can promptly adjust the diet for sows. In addition, it also monitors, imports data for each sow and reports the status from the sow. This graduate thesis is divided into 4 parts: Capstone Project Proposal (methodology, research methods, research and evaluation processes, analysis of research results, solutions), Interaction Design (version version). initial information architecture of the application, workflow and wireframe), Design and Evaluation Interaction (the process of testing the application's usability and upgrading the information architecture, wireframe) and Product inalization (the process of finalizing the application design). The design thinking process will be used throughout the application research and development process.
