A solution for building network system and deploying IS solution for medium enterprises

Abstract

This capstone project aims to develop a solution for building network systems and deploying information system (IS) solutions tailored specifically for medium-sized enterprises (SMBs). The project focuses on creating a standardized design and implementation framework that enhances the security, efficiency, and availability of SMBs' IT infrastructure. The proposed solution comprises several key components, including a high availability network infrastructure, a Windows Server-managed Office Area Network, a Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) area for web service hosting and centralized logging, a wireless system with multiple technologies for guest access, and a camera system for real-time monitoring and compressed storage. By implementing this solution, SMBs can benefit from a robust and reliable network infrastructure that ensures continuous operations and improved productivity. Throughout the project, a comprehensive approach to security is maintained, incorporating security controls to safeguard SMBs' IT infrastructure. The proposed solution adheres to industry best practices and standards, ensuring the protection of sensitive data and mitigating potential risks. In conclusion, this capstone project presents a standardized design and implementation approach for network systems and IS solutions, specifically tailored for medium-sized enterprises.
