In this project, our goal is to build an ECW that apply customer’s behavior analysis. Todo that, we use Microsoft association rules algorithms, data mining extension and Analysis Services that were provided by SQL Server 2008.
Firstly, we collect user data, user transaction data in their daily operations. Secondly, we analyze such data to get significant knowledge. It helps us to determine the life-time value of clients, give them recommendation. We can also create strategies across products and services, evaluate the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, optimize the functionality of Web-based applications, provide more personalized content to visitors, and find the most effective logical structure for our Web space. However, in this project’s scope, we will focus only on the first goal that is giving customers recommendation of products.
This type of analysis involves the automatic discovery of meaningful patterns andrelationship from a large collection data. The discovered patterns are usually represented as collections of pages, objects, or re-sources that are frequently accessed by groups of users with common needs or interest
