HUMAN RESOURCE ENTRY

Abstract

Nowadays, there are many companies need Human Resource Management software as a part of ERP system. While the big companies can develop their own system, or buy an expensive package from famous ERP solution providers like SAP or Oracle, there are still many disadvantages. Develop an own ERP system costs much time, effort and resource while the risk of failure still exist if the development team is not experienced enough. In-house developed system like that is also having no way to reuse to other companies (because they not intended to do so). The remaining solution, buying from famous provider cost very much money that not every company can afford. Also, there are still many complex features that they don‟t need to use with their business, but still have to pay for. They just want lightweight software that provides what they need. Our target is to develop a fast, flexible, easy to use web-based Human Resource Management System that can meet every company‟s requirement at the reasonable price. At the starting stage, we aim to small and medium firms at Vietnam as main customer. Currently, the market for human resource solution inside Vietnam is not new, but not saturated. While there are some available solutions that existed, there is no market leader. In the next part, we will give an overview about existing solutions after analyzing.
